Cheap Toshiba 19AV51U – 19″ LCD TV – widescreen – 720p – high-gloss white 19AV51U

I use this LCD TV without a cable box to watch news in the kitchen. The HD channels are very crisp. The only nuisance is how slowly the tuner changes channels. This is an issue since on my cable service there are 4 CBS stations, 4 NBC stations, etc. and usually the 2nd one is the HD channel.

# Buy Sony Bravia L-Series KDL-26L5000 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV, Black KDL-26L5000

This TV has excellent picture quality. The color is perfect, and very adaptable. The shadows are black, rather than greenish, as can happen with an LCD. The clarity is exceptionally sharp, and clear. I’m still amazed at how much better it is than the TV I had previously (an Insignia HD LCD TV).

The sound quality isn’t the best I’ve had with a TV, but I mainly listen with headphones, so that’s not as much of an issue.

I have three HDMI devices, so was pleased there were enough inputs. The menu is very easy to use, and it was simple to set the TV into its stand.

I use the TV in my bed/sitting room, and it’s just the right size.

This was a good choice, and can recommend this TV to others.

We were looking for a good bedroom TV , not too big, but big enough. To me this 26 inch Sony hits the sweet spot , don’t worry its perfect for a bedroom or small room … you should watch it from about 5 feet away . Setup was quick and easy, you need to play around with the Sony 4 pre-sets such as “movie mode”, “vivid” etc to find the look you like. I didn’t need to adjust the color setting at all, and I am pretty particular about this … so this surprised me. So far after a few weeks I would have to give this Sony a big thumbs up.

Cheap Sharp Aquos LC52D65U 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV LC52D65U

After returning a defective Samsung LN-52A550, I decided to give this a try. Bhoy I made the right decision! Ignore any contrast ratio rating by so called experts. This is the one to own. Aquos picture is the best in the business. Clarity of pictures is so amazing. So crisp on HDTV, that we can’t help on watching more blu-ray on it. I also use this as an awesome monitor while I type this review. Never again will I stray on another Korean brand like Samsung. Their quality and customer service is pathetic. I was also considering the SONY KDL-52V4100. Picture is not close to this Aquos. You have to get their XBR series to land a crisp picture compared to this Aquos.

Pros: 5Hdmi, 4ms response time . Slimmest of the bunch,3.0 Energy Certified. Amazing picture with correct setting, great design, Japanese quality,exceptional customer serice. This is Acura, Lexus of televisions

For the price the quality of this little tv is amazing. I purchased this LCD using a gift certificate my sister gave me. Honestly, never thought this brand of LCD was any good. Reading reviews like this one was what finally made me push that buy button. Last year I purchased a much larger Sony brand LCD that works well and paid over 00.00 US for it. The VIZIO has a built in Digital tv converter and picks up digital signals using a standard antenna the expensive sony says it does this but does not and would need a digital converter box! Finally for around 0.00 the Vizio 720p HDTV is well worth it.

Unreliable HDTV Buyer Beware! – Daniel Samson – California, USA
I bought this hdtv a year ago and the picture quality was mediocre compared to other hdtvs at this screen size. I took really good care of the Vizio VX20L and a year later, this thing just died on me. I tried everything to try and turn the tv on like unplugging and re-plugging all the connections and pressing the on button millions of times. What do you know? It’s defective.

Please do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company so that you don’t have to deal with the heartache of having this sent to a TV technician or back to the warranty center.
