The two most recent technologies in the world of TV are plasma and LCD. Plasma technology has advanced rapidly down prices in recent years and today is relatively cheap. currently on sale with 42-inch plasma screen for about $ 2,500, available with cheaper versions – and the small -. LCD TV LCD or have moved recently and are currently more expensive than plasma. LCD technology, however, there is some timeused in laptop screens for more than a decade. recently been produced larger versions of the LCD. As the largest LCD screen are available, in addition to lower prices is much stronger than competing LCD and Plasma.

The LCD screen has several advantages over plasma. For example, LCD screens run much cooler than the average plasma TV, and therefore require less energy to operate. Plasma TVs run so hot, in fact, as a fan to cool it – which maybe strong. In addition, plasma screens tend to worsen with time, slowly, darkness. LCD, on the other hand, run relatively cool, and does not deteriorate over time. Some Plasma owners, who have used their TVs for a few years ago, have witnessed the decline of their screens. LCDs also tend to have better overall image quality, and are generally easier to 10-15 percent in a plasma.

So it seems that even if the plasma is the best selling of the two wasTechnologies so far, is probably a tendency in the opposite direction. The only obvious disadvantage of the LCD is studying for a high price. In comparison, twice as expensive has Plasma LCD. However, as the price of LCD technology comes down, it is likely to be the preferred choice of consumers of flat-screen TV.
